Business Development Manager required for our client, a drainage maintenance company specialising in the planned and reactive maintenance of commercial drainage systems across the South of England, based out of their offices in Kent.
Business Development Manager Position Remuneration
- Salary £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience
- £300 a month car allowance
- Commission - 8% profit on sales
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
Due to consistent growth within the business, our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who has a strong background and understanding of the commercial drainage, pumps, and waste water industry to join their successful sales team.
Our client has expanded their business significantly over the past 2 years, winning a number of large commercial contracts covering pubs, restaurants, hotels, and universities, expanding their business from just covering Kent to covering from the East Midlands down to the Isle of Wight.
Business Development Manager Position Responsibilities
- Traveling across the south of England, meeting with prospective clients and pitching the companies planned and reactive maintenance services in order to win business
- Meeting company sales targets
- Working one day per week from the companies offices in Kent
- Liaising closely with the internal projects and contracts delivery teams to provide a detailed handover
Business Development Manager Position Requirements
- Strong background within the commercial pumps, drainage, and waste water industry
- Sales background, with specific experience selling maintenance contracts within the water industry
- Significant amount of contacts within the commercial facilities maintenance industry
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Maidstone
