Job title: Quotations Engineer
Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday (8.00AM - 16.30PM) - 40 hours per week
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Permanent role working for a leading electrical manufacturing client in Telford, Shropshire.
A new role has arisen for a Quotations Engineer to join a leading electrical manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.
Due to the nature of the business, the hiring manager is looking for someone that has previous experience/knowledge of Industrial & Domestic LV Switchgears, Electrical Power Distribution, Panel boards and/or Consumer Units.
This role will be office based, working within the quotations team you will be responsible for producing quotations and sending them onto prospective and current customers, preparing sales paperwork - spreadsheets and sales documentation, reviewing drawings, following up quotes and tenders and working with procurement regarding pricing and lead times.
This client in Telford, requires a Quotations Engineer on a permanent basis**.** As a Quotations Engineer you will be required to;
- Prepare Control systems quotations.
- Sales Paperwork - Spreadsheets and Sales Documentation.
- Liaise with Clients and suppliers.
- Review Technical Drawings.
- Following up quotes and Tenders.
- Work with Procurement regarding pricing and lead times
The Quotations Engineer should have the following skills or experience:
Essential:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge/Experience of Industrial & Domestic LV Switchgears, Electrical Power Distribution, Panel boards and/or Consumer Units.
- Previous work-based experience using 2D and/or 3D AutoCAD.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with some basic knowledge of Quotations, Tendering or Sales Engineering and has experience with LV Switchgears, Electrical Distribution, Panel Boards or Customer Units that would like to gain more experience with an established manufacturing company.
