My client is a large retail business based in Lancashire. Due to an increase in workload through transformation changes within the business they are recruiting two Finance Business Partners to their vibrant and expanding finance function, initially on a 3 month fixed term contract basis but this can be extended and even made permanent for the right candidates.
As a Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for partnering with the retail, commercial and marketing business areas from a financial perspective. This will include the provision of reporting of trading performance versus financial and non-financial KPIs across various channels, critical analysis of performance of customer facing activity providing insight and recommendations to stakeholders, evaluation of the ability to meet business targets in the short to medium term and identify areas of risk and opportunity, as well as supporting the financial reporting and planning team with the budgeting and forecasting process.
This role will suit a qualified finance professional with experience in a commercially focused accounting position with excellent key stakeholder engagement skills. The role is paying up to £65,000 dependant on experience with a hybrid working policy of 2 days onsite and the remainder from home. There will also be fantastic opportunities for you to stay longer term and drive real change and improvement within the business.
