Talent Acquisition Manager

Are you an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager with a history of developing and supporting high-performing talent acquisition teams and confidently interacting with key stakeholders across the business?

As the Talent Acquisition Manager you will report into the Talent Acquisition Operations Manager ensuring that you provide a professional, responsive and customer focused recruitment service. You will manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists to drive and deliver the talent attraction strategy, and work closely with the On-boarding team to ensure applicants are progressed through pre-employment screening and on-boarding.

In this role, you will optimise the use of our ATS, developing its functionality and be responsible for data integrity, producing reports, and training staff to use it to its full extent. You will also be ensuring that all candidates have an exceptional candidate experience

You'll be based at our recruitment hub office in Luton 2-3 days a week, working from home the remaining time. As a multi-site business, there will be the need to travel, visiting sites and attending events which could include overnight stays. A full driving licence or be able and willing to travel by public transport is required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for monitoring and increasing productivity of the recruitment team to create a more efficient, cost-effective team; Managing the workload distribution among the team
  • Drive and deliver best practice solutions for Talent Attraction including campaigns, screening, and placement of applicants
  • Leading recruitment initiatives for new site openings
  • Working with the on-boarding team to ensure that candidate's pre-employment screening and onboarding is carried out in a timely manner
  • Deliver against defined, measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and SLA reporting monthly
  • Working closely with your manager and stakeholders to identify their service and recruitment needs, identifying, and implementing strategies to build candidate pipelines to support them
  • Monitor, manage and report recruitment performance, including adherence to agreed KPI's and SLA's
  • Coaching staff to develop improved service, increase skills and progress professional development, including delivering regular 1-2-1s and performance reviews
  • Acting as an ATS super user, working internally and externally with the ATS provider on system optimization, improvement, and development
  • Developing a talent pipeline plan and approach with recruiters to actively source candidates

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience managing a high-performing recruitment team - preferably within a health care setting - Nursing/medical recruitment background
  • Experience formulating campaigns and managing external recruitment
  • Experience working to SLAs and KPIs
  • Highly developed specialist and working knowledge of employment legislation, policies, regulations
  • Expert understanding of applicant engagement strategies
  • Knowledge of best practice customer service methodologies
  • Ability to successfully source and reach out to candidates, using proactive approaches such as LinkedIn, job board databases, social media and boolean searching for passive candidates
  • Competence in the use of ATS systems (Ideally Eploy)
  • Experience of developing and running training programs
  • Change management processes and experience
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, able to make evidence-based decisions
