Manager

LOCATION-

Central London (hybrid work from home)

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £53,000 - £

68,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a QHSE Manager on a permanent basis in the Central London area with experience in a similar Quality, Health and Safety or QHSE Management position. Your main duties day to day will be to Manage the Quality Management system to ISO9001 standards as well as being responsible for HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 18001) .

The QHSE

Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Qualified in any formal health and safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH or similar) OR experience working in a Quality, H&S, QHSE or similar position.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities.
  • Must have previous experience of working with an ISO9001 Quality Management System.
  • Working experience of HSE standards (ISO14001, ISO18001, NEBOSH, IOSH or similar).
  • Familiar with leading a Quality or H&S function.
  • Capable of carrying out audits.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Formal NEBOSH or IOSH qualification – advantageous but not essential

The QHSE

Manager role will involve:

  • Managing the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental function day to day.
  • Ensuring the business is in line with the relevant standards and guidance (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001 etc)
  • Advise on how to improvement the function within all areas of the business.
  • Overseeing the implementation of new and updated standards.
  • Working with management on any H&S concerns.
  • Carry out audits across the business.
