Client Details
I am working with a global leader in the logistics and supply chain space. They are searching for a Senior Software Project Manager to lead on the end to end delivery of client facing software projects.
This is a permanent role, based in Manchester with hybrid/flexible working.
Description
- Manage the specification, design, development, testing, deployment, commissioning, go-live, of software solutions
- Responsible for budget, quality, risk management, schedule, documentation, training, scope, and customer management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Responsible for management of the customer relating to all software elements within the scope of the project.
- Responsible for planning and forecasting all project related costs including resources, hardware and expenses working with project controller reporting monthly.
- Responsible for variations to the software scope ensuring they are costed and delivered to agreed schedule.
- Produce and maintain software delivery schedule, risks and issues. Monitor, and report progress internally and externally.
- Work with the software architect to drive the development team, manage the backlog and task assignment to the team.
- Identify opportunities for the business and take action to implement
Profile
- Proven experience as a Software Development Project Manager
- Experience as a Project Manager working for Software Supplier delivering software to external customers.
- Customer-facing experience as a Project Manager delivering software to external clients.
- Experience managing Developers, Software Engineers and QA Engineers
- Track record of successful delivery of complex, large scale,
- Track record delivering IT-led real time projects including software integration
Job Offer
- Salary range of £54,000 - £80,000 depending on experience
