Day to day of the role:
- Administer the weekly payroll using simple accounts software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Cross-check employee hours against time off forms, sickness forms, and overtime sheets.
- Handle incoming phone calls and liaise with the management team to resolve any payroll-related queries.
- Assist in the administration of weekly production reporting, analysing anomalies to help manage performance.
- Perform general administrative duties and collaborate with the team to maintain up-to-date accounts.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and understand the purpose of various reports and how to complete them effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in payroll administration or a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Proficiency in using accounts software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexibly and manage time effectively.
- A desire to learn and grow within the role
