Our client, a leading hardware manufacturer and trade supplier, is seeking a dedicated
Inventory Manager
to join their dynamic team in
Crawley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient order fulfilment.
- Manage the selection and organisation of storage locations, ensuring easy access and accurate stock placement.
- Handle queries related to inventory shortages and address incoming goods issues, such as quality, quantity, and documentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and security of the stores, ensuring best practices are upheld.
- Support procurement and purchasing teams by forecasting material and consumable demands.
- Ensure ERP system data is accurate and up to date for effective inventory management.
The Candidate:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- A keen eye for detail, with excellent organisational skills and a system-oriented approach.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems is desirable.
The Package:
- Competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000pa, dependent on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm.
- 45-minute lunch break.
