The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the Stock Management Accountant will include:
- Produce and present monthly management accounts business unit and group level
- Perform monthly stock reconciliation to the General Ledger.
- Ensure compliance with all external audit requirements.
- Serve as the SAP super-user for Stock, including identifying and resolving system issues, and managing GR/IR accounts.
- Monitor Moving Average Prices (MAP) and investigate discrepancies outside of agreed tolerances.
- Manage store stocktakes, including year-end, interim, seasonal, and ad hoc counts.
- Identify inventory balance sheet risks and opportunities
The Candidate
To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:
- Relevant Accountancy Qualifications; CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Post qualified experience in large multi-national environment
- Ability to manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, each with different objectives and priorities.
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Excel, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Previous experience in managing stock finance, advantageous
- Strong SAP experience
Salary & Benefits
In return, the successful Management Accountant will receive the following:
- £40,000 - £45,000 base salary
- 25 days holidays
- Hybrid working patterns from the Leeds office
