Job Advert: Property Administrator at Morson Talent
Job Title: Property Administrator (Maternity Leave cover until November)
Salary: £27,700 (pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am-5.30pm with an hour unpaid lunch break. Occasional weekend work included on a rota basis with days in lieu provided.

Join our dynamic team at Morson Talent, working on behalf of our esteemed client, a large property consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant community and gain valuable experience in property management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Applicants & Tenants: Handle enquiries, screen applicants, and resolve tenant issues promptly and professionally.
- Contract Renewals & Ending Tenancies: Arrange check-ins and check-outs, and administer end-of-tenancy deposit refunds.
- Carrying Out Inspections: Visit properties to ensure proper maintenance by tenants.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Liaise with contractors as necessary.
- Admin and Communication: Engage with tenants and internal departments, and keep the general manager updated on any issues.
Skills and Qualities:
- Communication: Exhibit polite and courteous written and verbal communication with tenants, prospective tenants, visitors, and contractors.
- Detail-Oriented and Organized: Maintain high attention to detail and an organized approach to processing tasks.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to work outside of traditional office hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.
- Problem Solving: Effectively manage unexpected issues to minimize negative impacts on the property.
- Initiative: Prioritize your own work and demonstrate expertise in time management.
- Professional Manner: Maintain a professional attitude, dress, and communication style.
- IT and Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Approach to Work: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a pressured environment with strict deadlines.
Nice to Have:
- Property Knowledge: Experience in property management is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
