This position offers engineers the opportunity to work on automation, electro/mechanical, and data acquisition systems for turnkey projects in the automotive test industry. Responsibilities include:
- Checking on-site system electrical installations and fault finding.
- Calibrating and setting up data acquisition, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Configuring CADET V14 software and test sequences.
- Working with 3rd party hardware for integration into test cells.
- Conducting test runs, developing automation sequences, and custom functionality.
- Providing customer training and support, both on-site and remotely.
- Frequent travel, primarily within the UK and occasionally overseas.
You:
- Self-driven with good time management skills.
- Electrical understanding and the ability to diagnose issues from drawings.
- Basic programming skills, preferably in C# or Visual Basic.
- Familiar with protocols like Ethernet, Serial, EtherCAT, CAN.
- Good fault-finding skills and an understanding of automotive industry concepts.
- Willingness to work away from home, with a significant amount of travel.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK.

- Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience.
