Axon Moore are partnering a rapidly-growing company in Blackburn as they recruit for a Finance Assistant to join their team. No previous experience within finance is required role, but any office based experience would be an advantage.
This progressive new opportunity is well suited to well-rounded candidates who will gain valuable experience in an exciting and varied role. As a trainee finance assistant, you will provide support and assist with the day-to-day financial activities, with the chance to progress quickly within the role.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Issuing and posting receipts and invoices
- Creating and updating customer records
- Ensuring all invoices are recorded correctly and accurately
- Dealing with internal and external queries
- Updating accounts receivable database with new accounts
- Validating customer accounts
- Analysing and reporting on billing and invoice information
Required Skills and Experience:
- Have a flexible and adaptable work approach
- Ability to working on your own and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Keen eye for detail and an analytical approach
- Confident ability of Microsoft Packages including Excel
- No previous experience is required but office based experience would be an advantage
