HR Admin - Temporary Part time: Monday - Wednesday

Based in Esher, Surrey

Hours: 8:30 am - 4pm, 21 hours a week

Salary: £13.25 per hour

Fantastic opportunity to join a leading charitable organization based in Esher, Surrey.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised part-time temporary HR administrator to support their Human Resource team. This is a generalist role where you will be providing accurate and timely managed information and ensuring compliance with data protection requirements and best practices with regards to the maintenance of the HR system and employees' records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cover and assistance for other team members as appropriate.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, coordinating interview schedules, and communicating with candidates.
  • Help manage the recruitment inbox and ensure the smooth running of the hiring process.
  • Handling all recruitment enquiries by telephone, e-mail or face-to-face
  • Preparing and sending out application packs to prospective candidates
  • Support the HR team with various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing HR presentations, filing, and maintaining HR databases.
  • Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures are up to date and communicated effectively to staff.
  • Data entry (entering travel details to retain record of business-related travel
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, including GDPR.

Person Specification:

  • Good standard of education
  • Have a valid DBS certification
  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills
  • High degree of accuracy and experience of using databases
  • Calm, friendly and flexible approach
  • Excellent time management
  • Accurate attention to detail
  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with staff at all levels.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and respect for confidentiality.
  • Strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively, as well as working independently when required.
