Social Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to be based in Kingshill, Kent area on a permanent basis. Are you a caring, kind, yet professional Social worker really looking to make a difference to lives? If so, this is the role for you!
As a Social Worker you will:
- Manage a diverse caseload of children, young people and their families, undertaking assessments to determine the needs and capabilities of clients and carers, and drawing up plans of support under the supervision and guidance of a designated supervisor
- Have the ability to use agreed eligibility criteria and in accordance with statutory requirements, Directorate and Corporate Policy and National Legislation.
- Provide and ensure the availability of adequate advocacy arrangements to assist service users towards self-determination of their personal assistance arrangements.
- Identify and where appropriate manage any safeguarding and quality of care issues in line with directorate policy
As a Social worker it is essential that you:
- Have a degree in Social Work
- Are assessed as competent to operate at the New Practitioner or Practitioner level of the Social Care Capability Framework
- Hold relevant experience to demonstrate the competencies required.
- Have the ability to work within a court setting
