The company is an established retailer based in Manchester which has been going for more than 70 years. This is a hybrid working role and most the team go the office 3 or 4 days a week. In this role you will use technology such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to streamline operations with their retail partners.
Description
- Become familiar with and learn the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) tools they use (Lobster Data / Transus)
- Monitor data flows, identify and resolve basic errors to prevent disruptions
- Collaborate with lead developer on more complex issues
- Documentation of EDI setups
- Receive training in EDI mapping, standards and best practices
- Gradually take ownership of configuring new EDI integration's with guidance
Profile
Must haves:
- Degree in computer science or related field
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
Nice to haves:
- Data visualisation tools (Excel, Power BI etc)
- Exposure to EDI concepts (self learning / coursework)
