The school is looking to appoint someone who is passionate, creative and has a thorough knowledge of their specialist subject.
Requirements of the job:
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- PGCE Qualification
- Strong knowledge of the subject curriculum
- A great work ethic
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering a range of engaging lessons
- Create a positive learning environment through well planned lessons
- Teaching KS3/KS4 - the ability to speak KS5 is an advantage
- Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupil progress and development
- Research new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials as required
- Ensuring the safeguarding of all students
