Hotel Head Chef

We are currently looking for an experienced hotel Head Chef to lead the kitchen team with the appropriate skill set to deliver exceptional service to the hotel's clients and guests.

Our client is a business and leisure resort with a racecourse, hotel, spa and golf course on site.

The Person

The ideal Head Chef will have:

  • An expert knowledge and passion for ingredients, flavours and food design.
  • High level of culinary skill.
  • Excellent and innovative culinary and presentation skills and demonstrate a passion for food
  • Having the ability to plan, lead and execute projects on their own to achieve desired standards
  • Ability to influence and operate at all levels
  • Multi-site experience is a must
  • Used to working with large numbers but not compromise on quality
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Hotel Head chef (sub 100 rooms) or as Senior Sous chef (Plus 100 rooms)
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a branded high-quality hotel
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to strict pressured deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of allergens, food safety and hygiene, health and safety, COSHH, HACCP, RIDDOR, and relevant audits, EHO etc
