We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support to learners within a college environment. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, can remain calm under pressure, and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist learners with their daily duties and educational activities within the college setting.
- Maintain a calm and patient demeanor in potentially stressful situations.
- Efficiently handle multiple tasks to ensure the safety and well-being of learners.
- Communicate clearly and sensitively with learners, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Utilise fine motor skills to assist learners with various tasks.
- Respond to feedback and criticism in a constructive manner.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other members of the college community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Patience and the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
- Strong multitasking abilities with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Clear verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining sensitive information.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Good manual dexterity for assisting with physical tasks.
- Openness to constructive criticism and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
