Hays Business Support are working with a family run business based in Wolverhampton. Due to growth within the business they are looking to expand their Sales and Customer Service team. This is a full time, permanent position based in their office located within the Wolverhampton area.
Your new role
The main aim of the Customer Services Representative is to provide excellent service and to meet and exceed customers' requirements as well as achieving sales growth.
The working hours for this role are 9:00-17:30 Monday-Friday. This role is office based and does not offer hybrid working.
Your duties:
- Processing orders via telephone, fax and email onto a bespoke CRM system.
- Processing inbound queries via both telephone and email quickly and in a professional manner.
- Support the retention and growth of the customer base by continually liaising with current customers and prospecting for new customers via own initiative or using our call list system.
- Regularly updating the customer database to ensure that all details are up to date and accurate.
- Advising customers of available products and offering alternatives that best fit their needs.
- Form meaningful customer relationships through conversations where you identify, understand and meet their needs, providing access to specialist advice where required.
- Liaising with warehouse and distribution to ensure orders arrive on time.
- Log customer issues as well as responding to and solving customer problems / queries / complaints.
- General administrative duties.
- Take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities whenever reasonably asked
What you'll need to succeed
Experience previously within a Sale and Customer Service role is essential and you must be proficient on MS office packages. You must be able to use own initiative but also work well as a team.
You'll need to be a highly organised, confident and an articulate individual who can work effectively under pressure. The company are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about the company's success.
