This is a full time role, working 37 hours per week.
Day to day duties of the role
- To develop effective and professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- To effectively lead, manage and develop a Learning Support team of to meet the needs of learners and stakeholders through personalisation.
- To lead, motivate and develop a team of staff and support their career journeys while championing a cycle of continuous improvement.
- To work collaboratively with cross college areas to ensure processes and procedures are fit for purpose, ensure effective audit evidence and deliver value for money.
Required skills and qualifications
- Degree level qualified and full teaching qualification
- Professional qualification in SEND and/or Inclusive Practice
- A strong understanding of funding and auditing processes
- Knowledge and experience of curriculum design and effective learning support models of best practice
