Supply Chain Analyst Needed - Join a Dynamic Team!

Are you ready to take on an exciting role as a Supply Chain Analyst? Our client, a leading engineering company, is looking for a talented individual to join their team in Worthing. With a convenient location just a short walk from Goring-by-Sea train station, this is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark in the industry.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement within the supply chain processes. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented individual who can revise the RTB (Request to Build) and document various processes to eliminate any potential single points of failure. This is a temporary position with a contract length of 3 months, offering you the chance to make a significant impact in a short amount of time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving continuous improvement in the planning processes
  • Planning and progressing work orders to ensure OTIF (On Time in Full) targets are met
  • Developing and executing production plans in collaboration with the supply chain and production teams
  • Liaising with other teams to address fast-track orders, priorities, and potential risks
  • Updating and maintaining the weekly RTB document, ensuring it reflects the latest information
  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis and modelling to provide insights for data-driven actions

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to draw conclusions from data
  • Proven experience in supply chain and planning analysis within FMCG or Manufacturing
  • A strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics operations
  • Experience using MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Strong IT skills, especially in MS Office, Excel, and data analytics tools
