Warehouse Team Member
Location: Daventry
Salary: £24,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
We are recruiting for a family run organisation in Daventry, our client is seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Warehouse Team Member.
Duties
- Operate forklifts and pallet trucks (training provided) for moving steel bundles and palletised goods.
- Build wooden shipping pallets and crates using hand and power tools.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring proper checks and referencing paperwork.
- Pick and prepare orders for despatch, collaborating with other warehouse operatives.
- Conduct stock checks and organise the warehouse for efficient operations.
- Organise and file paperwork.
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Answer telephones and assist with basic administrative tasks.
- Manual handling - full training will be provided
The Candidate
- Computer literate
- Previous experience within a warehouse desired
