HR Operations Team Leader

Milton Keynes, Hybrid 3 days in the office per week
This is a brand new position due to growth and an opportunity for someone who has HR Operations experience to come in and lead a team of 8 who support a client group of around 5000 employees, ideally you will come from a financial services or professional services sector previously,
Driving best practice, embedding processes and driving SLAs across the team to support the wider business, this role will give the opportunity for someone to really make their mark and grow as the business also grows.
DUTIES
- With some recent mergers, this has led to the creation of a HR Operations team and this role will be to lead the team and make sure a first class service is given to all employees
- Managing the team who give first line support for every employee related question, query and advice, you will make sure that the team are given direction, supported and coached where needed.
- Working closely with other teams such as HRIS and analytics you will make sure Workday is embedded into the team, utilising it to run smooth processes across the employee group and wider business.
- Responsible for leading and managing projects to ensure smooth integration of processes, identifying areas of improvement and continually review.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- You will have had experience in a HR Operations team / Shared Services / Centre of Excellence.
- Team leader or team management experience required
- Ideally you will be a strong user or Workday
- Experience in the Insurance or similar regulated Financial Services sector highly desirable, however open to other sector backgrounds
- Happy to be in the office 3 days a week in Milton Keynes.
