1 role Based at Cuthbert Bank, 2 hybrid roles based in the community working from SYHA Head Office in Sheffield city centre.

About the services

Cuthbert Bank: SYHA's Cuthbert Bank service has provided a home and support to families affected by homelessness in Sheffield for decades. We are proud of the service and the impact that it has in supporting families to develop essential skills including tenancy ready support and debt management to ensure they are well placed to positively move on from the service into a long-term, secure tenancy.

LiveWell in the Community: SYHA's LiveWell in Community service provides a quality home dispersed in the community for up to 2 years with support around with mental health conditions. With a strength-based approach to support people develop essential skills to move to independent living in their own homes.

Housing First Rotherham & Doncaster Housing First is a flagship SYHA homeless service supporting people with experience of multiple disadvantage. Housing First is an international evidence-based model which provides flexible and intensive wraparound support to people in their home. SYHA is committed to delivering high fidelity housing first which delivers exceptional outcomes for our customers.

The role as Project Lead of these services is a critical role in managing the service and the outcomes for our customers. As Project Lead, you will lead a dynamic team and be passionate about delivering customer focused services. You will understand the importance of people being encouraged to identify their own strengths so they can positively develop strategies to enable them to better manage their housing and engage with support services. Your leadership of the service will play an important role in realising this outcome.

  • Performance management of the Team, enabling staff to reach their potential
  • Oversight of the housing management expectations of the project including repairs, voids and income management.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are managed effectively and working to the legislative requirements
  • Ensuring that data performance is accurate and evident.
  • Work with our Quality & Impact Manager to embed a culture of continuous improvement and high standards of service delivery.
  • Promoting the service and managing referrals into the service
  • Managing a staff rota (if applicable) and ensuring the service is effectively resourced.

We want you to be a great communicator with staff, customers and others possessing a positive can-do approach.In addition, you will be able to prioritise and organise your tasks and administration to meet deadlines and reporting requirements. Ideally you will have experience of supported housing or support services, as well as an understanding of the housing management aspect if applicable to the role you wish to apply for.

Our benefits:

  • Salary - £34,391 pro rata
