Customer Account Manager - EXCITING OPPORTUNITY !

Are you a customer-focused professional with exceptional communication skills? Are you passionate about building and maintaining strong relationships with clients? If so, our client is seeking a talented Customer Account Manager to join their team!

As the Customer Account Manager, you will play a key role in the onboarding of new customers. You will collaborate with the Business Development team and prospects to fully understand the business won, ensuring a smooth and successful launch. Once onboarded, you will become the primary point of contact for these customers, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the launch phase.

In addition to onboarding new customers, you will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of selected customer accounts. As the main internal point of contact, you will have a deep understanding of their spending patterns and our share of their overall basket spend. You will work closely with the customer accounts to ensure accurate product forecasts are in place and regularly reviewed. Your customer-centric approach will shine as you assist customers with all inquiries related to products, prices, samples, and information.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to effectively handle customer complaints and compliance queries. Your ability to maintain and improve margins through strategic product swaps, cost reductions, and price increases will be key to the success of our client's organisation.

Location: Orpington 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the Business Development team and prospects to understand the business won.
  • Liaise with the Business Development team, prospects, and onboarding team for a smooth launch.
  • Become the primary point of contact for new customers during the launch phase.
  • Serve as the main internal point of contact for selected customer accounts.
  • Understand customer spending patterns and our share of their basket spend.
  • Ensure accurate product forecasts are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Assist customers with inquiries related to products, prices, samples, and information.
  • Process customer orders and forward them to customer service for delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints and compliance queries through quality control.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a customer-focused role, such as account management or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
