We are searching for a passionate and motivated individual to join our client's dynamic team as a Category Manager. The successful candidate will maintain strong commercial relationships with retailers to promote assigned product lines for multiple brands. You will be confident in analysing sales performance and working effectively with internal departments, to sustain growth for your assigned categories.

Title: Category Manager

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Location: Ascot

Category Manager responsibilities:

  • Grow and maintain successful working relationships with retail accounts
  • Effectively manage your assigned categories' product range
  • Analyse sales performance to identify consumer trends and proactively create promotions to attract new consumer's
  • Collate sales performance analysis to share internally and externally
  • Forecast sales activity to optimise growth opportunities
  • Liaise with commercial and operational teams for new product and brand launches
  • Work effectively with marketing teams for cohesive branding
  • Identify and suggest ideas to engage and attract new consumers
  • Research competitor product ranges to successfully compete
  • Attend brand and briefing meetings

Skills and experience:

  • An understanding of retail account management and product launching
  • Strong administration and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisation and communication abilities
  • A proactive and energetic character, constantly seeking new business opportunities
