Your new company A successful SME based in Banbury with a history of growth in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Head of Finance to support the business with all financial operations and growth plans. You will work in a friendly environment with regular contact with the leadership team, running the finance department full-time in their office in Banbury.
Your new role Primary responsibility will be to run the business's financial operations with two direct reports and provide financial information to support the company's growth. Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Management Accounts
- Cost/Manufacturing Accounting
- Month/Year-end
- Analysis and Reporting
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- VAT returns
- Implementation of improved processes
- Partnering in decision-making
- Operations/Sales Reporting
What you'll need to succeed Previous experience working as number one or two in the finance department of an SME with commercial input/decision-making responsibilities and strong Excel skills are essential.
What you'll get in return You will receive a salary between £65-75k for a 35-hour week (half days on Fridays) with additional benefits, including a company performance bonus and the opportunity to run a finance department how you want, implementing your own processes and improvements.
