Academics is a leading education agency and we're looking for a talented and dedicated PE/ Dance Teacher to work within one of our client secondary schools in Warrington for a long term role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective PE/ Dance lessons to a range of age groups
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of students
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with different abilities ensuring each individual is challenged and supported to reach their full potential
- Collaborating with other members of staff to plan and deliver successful PE lessons that align with the national curriculum standards
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience of teaching PE/ Dance up to GCSE
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- To be able to engage and motivate pupils
- Good classroom management skills
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (cost applied)
