We are delighted to be partnered with our friendly, professional and established client as they seek to recruit a Sales Office Administrator / Sales Order Processor to join their experienced team within their offices close to Burgess Hill. This role is available due to strong business levels and growth within the company

Sales Office Administrator / Sales Order Processor

Full time permanent role - office based

Mon-Fri 0830 - 1700. During the summer / autumn periods my client offers reduced working hours of 0830-1500 or 1030-1700 and the salary is unchanged. These hours can change back to the regular hours of 0830-1700 depending on business requirements.

Role based close to Burgess Hill. Due to rural location of the offices, you will need to be a driver and have your own transport. There is plenty of free parking on site for all staff.

Salary £25000 per annum, depending on experience plus very good all round company benefits.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team within a small office of a very successful organisation.

Sales Office Administrator / Sales Order Processor

Duties will include:

  • Processing sales orders
  • Contacting customers to confirm receipt of orders and answering any questions
  • Resolving delivery issues and liaising with the distribution centre
  • Organising invoicing for customers and other administration tasks
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers
  • Actioning returns enquiries, raising credits
  • Packing up and dispatching of light goods

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

  • Experience of Sage would be beneficial - not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation required
  • Great rapport building skills and happy to talk to clients on the phone and by email
  • A cheery, positive disposition with a good sense of humour!
  • Able to manage workload and prioritise tasks
  • Flexibility - switching between tasks/roles
