Sustainability Consultant

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding building services consultancy who provide expert MEP services to various multidisciplined projects across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Sustainability Consultant who can hit the ground running for their sustainability team based in their new offices in Birmingham.
Role responsibilities for a Sustainability Consultant include:
- Take the lead on construction projects and help mentor the more junior team members to help achieve their potential
- Carry out site visits and produce commercial EPC's
- Use IES-VE software to optimise building performance and carry out overheating and operational energy analysis
- Produce general energy and sustainability statements for planning requirements
- Provide client s with technical advice and solutions to reduce their projects carbon footprint
The ideal Sustainability Consultant will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sustainability Consultant within the construction industry
- Working experience with industry standard software such as IES and SBEM
- Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations such as Part L and Part O
- Experience delivering EPCs for commercial projects
- A level 4 NDEA qualification would be highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail
