IFA Support Administrator

Well established, professional, reputable practice is looking for an experienced IFA administrator, to join the client support team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing proactive administrative support for our paraplanners and IFAs
  • Preparing and processing documentation for any new and existing clients
  • Managing cases utilising our various CRM portals and provider platforms
  • Handling incoming queries from internal staff, clients and external providers via email and telephone
  • Ensuring all compiled files meet with compliance requirements and reporting any that do not to the appropriate parties
  • Liaising with product providers and other third parties
  • Promoting the company's services in a professional and FCA compliant manner

Person Criteria:

  • Previous experience of an administrative role within the financial services industry, essential
  • Good level of education, passes in English and Maths
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numeracy skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and analyse financial and non-financial data
  • Experience in communicating with and managing expectations with clients
  • Desire to learn and develop
  • High level of initiative
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Literate with MS products including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Prior experience working with CRMs/online portals such as Intelliflo Office
  • Platform experience with Nucleus, Transact, Quilter and Standard Life/abrdn (Desired)

Additional Information:

  • Woking - hybrid
  • Salary - dependent on experience, most likely £30-35,000, however the client will consider very experienced IFA support applicants looking for up to £40,000 or higher
