Position Title: Support Worker
Location: Northampton Northamptonshire
Job Description:
At Halcyon Health & Social Care, our team in Northamptonshire is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide practical and emotional support to individuals with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual needs and preferences
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support individuals to participate in social and recreational activities, promoting community engagement and inclusion
- Monitor and document progress and changes in health and well-being
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for individuals' dignity and autonomy
Requirements:
- Six months of social care experience in the UK
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards individuals with diverse needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Clearable candidates (Right to work, DBS CONTENT)
- Flexibility to work early, late, long days, waking nights, or sleepovers
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable but not essential)
