Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address any issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants.
- Install, repair, and maintain fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders and invoices.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed to complete larger repair projects.
- Ensure that all safety and building codes are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
As a Handyman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of sites across West Midlands.
