My client is a well-established and highly respected law firm, based in the vibrant and historic heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. They are currently seeking a skilled Residential Property Solicitor to join their busy and dynamic Residential Property Department. In this role, you will manage a varied caseload, providing high-quality legal services to clients in areas such as freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and more. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver excellent service while working towards a long-term goal of progressing to a team leader position.
Requirements for the Role
To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing. You should be highly competent in handling a busy caseload with minimal supervision, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and associated law, including new builds, shared ownership, HTB mortgages, and ISAs. Additionally, you must have a strong understanding of AML requirements, excellent communication and client care skills, and be proficient in the use of MS Office and case management systems. Experience with post-completion, new builds, shared ownership, and LEAP CMS would be advantageous, as would the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
