About the Company and Role

My client is a well-established and highly respected law firm, based in the vibrant and historic heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. The firm prides itself on its progressive approach to legal services and its commitment to delivering exceptional client care. They are currently seeking a skilled Residential Property Solicitor to join their busy and dynamic Residential Property Department. In this role, you will manage a varied caseload, providing high-quality legal services to clients in areas such as freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and more. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver excellent service while working towards a long-term goal of progressing to a team leader position.

Requirements for the Role

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing. You should be highly competent in handling a busy caseload with minimal supervision, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and associated law, including new builds, shared ownership, HTB mortgages, and ISAs. Additionally, you must have a strong understanding of AML requirements, excellent communication and client care skills, and be proficient in the use of MS Office and case management systems. Experience with post-completion, new builds, shared ownership, and LEAP CMS would be advantageous, as would the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

This firm offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment where professional growth is encouraged. The successful candidate will benefit from a clear path to career progression, with the opportunity to eventually take on a team leadership role. The firm also values a positive work-life balance and offers a range of benefits to support both personal and professional development. You'll be part of a collaborative team, with opportunities to get involved in business development and enhance the firm's client base. In return for your hard work and dedication, the firm provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, as well as the chance to work in a progressive, client-focused environment that prioritises excellence and client satisfaction.
