Job
The role of Finance Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Handling and updating the purchase and sales ledgers
- Supporting the Assistant Finance Manager with daily accounting operations
- Advising on payment runs and resolving ledger queries
- Assisting with cash room tasks, including cash handling and verification
- Contributing to the preparation of periodic accounts, reporting, and trend analysis
- Preparing purchase orders and managing new supplier details in procurement
- Communicating with different company departments and external stakeholders
You
As a Finance Assistant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Primarily purchase ledger experience, sales ledger experience is advantageous
- Cash book processing experience
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong numerical skills and a high level of accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, multitask, and manage time efficiently
- Flexible, independent, and a collaborative team player
- Fluent in English and capable of establishing working relationships
- Motivated to maintain and drive standards forward
