An IT company are looking for an IT Support Technician (mainly 1st line with some 2nd line) to provide technical support and assistance to end-users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues within the educational/ schooling sector.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Supporting Schools/ educational sector clients
- Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions promptly.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
- Respond to IT support tickets and service requests
