EHS Field Officer

Location: Par, St Austell with travel to local Imerys sites

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, typically working Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Environmental, Health and Safety team in St Austell, Cornwall. If you are looking to consolidate your professional experience and have experience working as an EHS professional in an industrial environment, this role could be just what you are looking for.

You might be an environmental professional looking to broaden your experience into health and safety or vice versa a health and safety professional looking for experience in environmental. Either way we can support your continued development in these areas.

We do ask that you hold the NEBOSH General Certificate or can demonstrate you are working towards it and we can support your continued professional development. We also ask that you are able to legally drive in the UK by holding a UK driving licence or equivalent.

What will you be doing?

In this role you will be part of the common objective of zero workplace accidents and incidents. In a collaborative way you will be supporting our hiring managers and colleagues to achieve this. You will be:

  • Providing EHS support for our business teams
  • Travelling to sites within the St Austell area providing support and advice
  • Providing general co-ordination of EHS matters at site and function levels

This role is a fulltime and permanent role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) though we will require your flexibility to work outside of these hours from time to time.
