Site: Private Sector, Central London
Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £42,000 to £45,000 pa (Negotiable dependent on experience with excellent benefits

We're looking for an Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy Team at on of the largest Private sector Hospitals, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

The Role: (in brief)

  • You'll monitor & review occupational therapy care plans against outcome measures & adjust care plans to facilitate achievement of goals.
  • As a Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of the patients in critical care. This caseload consists of various post-surgical patients and patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
  • The Senior Specialist Critical Care OT will also assist with peer reviews, auditing and service development for the wider OT team.
  • The OT will be able to build strong links and working relationships with the wider MDT.
  • The caseload is constantly changing and dynamic, producing learning opportunities and experience in a wide range of specialities. There are multiple opportunities to engage in training and liaise with the team for continued learning and development.
  • Working in a world class centre of excellence which allows the opportunity to develop the OT service in new and exciting ways.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration
  • Bsc in Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in managing caseloads in all Critical Care settings including Neuro rehabilitation
  • Proficient communication skills in dealing with complex and situations requiring the utmost respect and dignity.
  • To provide highly specialised assessment and treatment of oncology and haematology patients
  • To be able to provide support to the wider MDT in specialist oncology OT treatments and assessment.
  • To provide specialist clinical support across all areas
