We are recruiting for a medium sized freight forwarder who are growing and seeking an experienced operations supervisor / team leader to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have strong ocean freight knowledge in imports / exports and hands on customs clearance experience but also a good understanding of air freight.
_You will be dealing with all types of shipments and duties will include: _
- Overseeing operations team and supporting the operations manager
- Arranging transport with hauliers & shipping lines
- Pre alert documents
- Customs entries / clearance
- FCL / LCL shipments
- Invoicing and billing
- Producing weekly reports
- Updating customer spreadsheets
- Dealing with some air freight shipments - imports and exports
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm
