My clients seeking an experienced CARGO DUTY MANAGER to assist with the day to day running of the operations at Heathrow.
Duties would include:
- To lead and motived the team
- Overseeing a team cargo agents / Warehouse / Drivers
- Dealing with both imports and exports
- Liaising with customers on a daily basis
- Managing Rota's
- Monitoring sickness and staff levels on shift
- Creating reports for cargo handling
- Ensuring all documentation is correct and completed with each shipment
- Attending meetings and keeping upto date with KPI's
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety standards
- To ensure all deadlines are met
Skills required:
- Cargo / Freight experience
- 5 year checkable history/ clean DBS check
- DG trained- advantage
- PC literate
- Import/ export knowledge
- Good customer service skills
Working hours:
- 4 on 4 off 2days - 0700-1900 / 2 nights 1900-0700
