Role Overview: We are seeking experienced structural steel fabricators to join our client's team. Candidates with a proven track record in steel fabrication are preferred. However, we also welcome applicants who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Structural Steel Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble structural steel components according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Operate machinery and tools safely
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday (4-day week)
- Hours: 07:00 to 17:30 (with a paid 15-minute tea break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
- Finish at 16:30 on Thursdays
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: £15.50 (fully skilled fabricators)
- Annual Bonus (subject to company performance)
- Overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays (paid at time and a half)
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in structural steel fabrication (preferred)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Local candidates preferred
