We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Southampton from September for the full academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the academic and personal development of young learners. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of teaching and learning, ensuring each child is supported and challenged to reach their potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress.
  • Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching KS1, with a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the wellbeing of all students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
