People Executive (FTC 11 Months) - Hybrid

Posted by Six Degrees Group .

Six Degrees is a leading secure, integrated cloud services provider, where everyone is welcome. We believe success lies in harnessing a truly diverse and inclusive culture.

Our business protects UK organisations with the goal of enabling them to operate effectively and securely in the cloud, by giving them secure platforms to innovate and grow. We support our customers on their digital transformation journey regardless of their maturity. Our vision is to be the UK's number one provider of secure, integrated cloud services to the small to mid-size market.

Six Degrees is currently transforming and adopting a new business model, including a mix of work performed on-shore in the UK as well as some activities being undertaken offshore. The People Team is integral to supporting that transformation, including managing the impacts on UK-based employees as well as supporting the mobilisation of employees based off-shore. As such, this is a busy time for us and an exciting time for someone to be developing their HR experience.

This Fixed-Term opportunity has principally arisen to support the People Team during a period of planned absence within the team however, given the timing with our transformation, will be key to the delivery of the wider HR agenda.

The People Executive will provide the backbone of HR Operational activities within Six Degrees, driving our internal processes in a range of areas including onboarding and induction, performance management, internal communications and engagement, data and systems management, payroll and benefits and more. This role is a key interface with the business and providing hands on support to internal stakeholders across the full HR spectrum.

As such, this role is ideal for someone with some good HR experience already who is looking to specialise in HR Operations and HR management, and who wants more experience in change management. The role forms part of a small People team, and the ideal candidate is therefore hands-on, has initiative, wants to own their own work and is flexible and comfortable within a changing environment.
