**SEND Teaching Assistant - Secondary level

Salary: £80 - £100 per day

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support secondary level students with special educational needs in a secondary school in Gateshead. This full-time position is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to monitor student progress.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working with secondary level children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
