A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Knife Specialist for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Barking.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the freshness and quality of produce, discarding any spoiled or damaged produce.
- Cut, Peel, Dice, Chop, and slice vegetables according to specified requirements of customers.
- Follow Instructions from Production supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and to meet completion of tasks in line with customer orders.
- Maintain good housekeeping of your work area by applying the Company 'Clean as you go' policy at all times.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements:
- Experience within a Production environment
- Knife skill set experience including Cutting, Peeling, Dicing, Chopping, and slice to required measurements
- Food Hygiene Certificate / Handling fresh chilled produce
- Flexible team player
- High levels of accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Manual Handling
