Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant

A well established leading organisation located in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a proactive and positive Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. This role is being offered on a temporary basis for up to six weeks.

Working as part of a small finance team, the key focus of this role will be the purchase ledger function with key duties including:

Matching, checking and coding supplier invoices with purchase orders;
Supplier statement reconciliations;
BAC's payment runs;
Taking calls and dealing with enquiries;
Filing
Ad hock tasks

What you'll need to succeed:

You will have a proven track record in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant role with a proactive and positive approach to learning new systems. The ideal candidate must be able to deal with high volumes of transactions and have the ability to juggle tasks that can crop up. Good time keeping and having the ability to communicate to all levels within the business is a must.

Hours: 09:00 - 17:00
Days: Monday - Friday
Type: Office based only
