A fantastic role has recently become available in a friendly and supportive primary school in Reading.
The school need a Learning Support assistant to come in and support their students in their day to day activities.
- The students that attend this school are between the ages of 4 and 11.
- Each child has a personalised educational and health care plan and individual intervention plans designed to help them thrive and support their needs.
- As a learning support assistant, you will be part of ensuring that they are able to complete their academic work while also helping them navigate through the complexities of academic life.
- You will also monitor their progress and report back to the class teacher
What you can expect as a Learning Support Assistant:
- Deliver specific interventions that have been designed with the student, their needs and goals in mind
- Foster positive academic learning through play
- Manage classroom behaviour
- Supervise durign playtimes

People who would benefit largely from this role would be psychology graduates a well as those with a background in sport, art, drama or music.
