Regional Sales Manager

We are currently supporting one of our clients in the in the recruitment of a Regional Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a wide variety of medium & low-pressure valves and control related products into contractors, OEMs, end-users and distributors with particular focus on the food & beverage, NHS, General Industry, chemical and process markets.

Area: North Midlands England

Responsibilities:

  • Sell medium and low-pressure valves and control-related products to contractors, OEMs, end-users, and distributors.
  • Focus on markets such as food & beverage, NHS, General Industry, chemical, and process industries.
  • Manage existing customer relationships, win new business, and handle project sales opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for prospecting, quotations, sales, and contract completion in the region.
  • Define territory goals, develop plans, and manage resources.
  • Report progress verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of external sales experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Must reside within the sales region.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven track record in business-to-business sales.
  • Mechanical qualification (HNC or higher) and experience with end-user customer interactions and steam systems.
  • Valid driving license.
