Our Client is seeking a hardworking Asbestos Lab Analyst / Trainee Site Staff to join their team in the Midlands. They are able to offer excellent further training into Asbestos Surveying and Site Analysis, as well as gaining the associated P Certifications. This would be a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic candidates who are looking to gain site experience and knowledge, as the client can offer a split site / lab role. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must Hold BOHS P401 qualifcation (or RSPH equivalent)
- Holding other P Certs such as the P402, P403 and / or P404 would be beneficial to the role
- Will hold experience working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst for a UKAS Accredited outfit
- Strong IT and written skillset and experience
- Organised and hardworking ethic
The Role:
- Completing bulk analysis of suspected ACM (asbestos containing materials)
- Logging in and handling samples and updating company records
- Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and all work areas
- Working to agreed KPIs and ensuring to uphold UKAS standards
- Once P402 is gained, you will be undertaking Asbestos Management, Demolition, Refurbishment Surveys
- Upon obtaining P403 & P404, you will be completing Analytical duties, including 4 Stage Clearances, Personal, Leak, Background and Re-occupation air testing
