Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular reconciliations.
- Accounts Preparation: Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Tax Returns: Assist in the preparation of VAT, corporation, and personal tax returns.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to resolve queries and provide financial advice.
- Audit Support: Assist in audit planning and fieldwork, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Mentoring: Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA.
- Experience: Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
